WOOL TAPESTRIES & PILLOWS
These Ayacucho style tapestries are made by a group of about twenty families living in the city of Ayacucho, called the Rasuwilka Association. The first members were those who in 1983 formed the Association of Families of Detained, Kidnapped and Disappeared Persons of Peru. To this day, ANFASEP continues its struggle for truth and justice for Peru's disappeared. Rasuwilka was an outgrowth to develop jobs.
